The ‘AccuSine’ range of high performance, digitally controlled, active filters cancel harmonic currents up to the 50th harmonic on almost any three wire application. AccuSine is available in per unit ‘harmonic cancellation current ratings’ of 50A, 100A and 300A at voltages from 208V up to 480V, 50hz or 60hz. Mitigation current ratings to 3000A are available via paralleling units. Operation on MV supplies (up to 22kV) is available using special interposing transformers.

AccuSine operates by sensing the load harmonic current waveshape via current transformers (CTs). The voltage signal from the CTs is inputted into notch filter where the fundamental component of current is removed. The remaining signal, a measurement of the ‘distortion current’, is fed into power section of the AccuSine to produces a current waveshape which matches the distortion current’ required by the load. This ‘distortion current’ is injected into the load and provides the load with the harmonic current it requires to function whereas the source provides the fundamental current (50hz or 60hz).AccuSine operates at 100 microseconds response time and, unlike the majority of active filters, successfully treats interharmonics and non characteristic harmonics such as those attributable to imbalance

AccuSine harmonic mitigation performance is typically <5% total harmonic current distortion (ITHD). In addition, AccuSine provide controllable reactive current compensation (i.e. electronic power factor control).

Any combination of harmonic current cancellation and reactive current compensation is available via the operator keypad.

AccuSine is available in chassis from (IP00) and enclosures to IP54 (if required).

AccuSine is fully CE marked for EMC & LV, UL and CSA approved.

Note - AccuSine can also be used in conjunction with NCETM (Neutral Current Eliminators) on four wire systems (three phase plus neutral).
