For new installations which involve large numbers of single phase non linear loads such as computers in data centres, financial institutions or call centres, etc. HMPCs (Harmonic Mitigation Power Centres) and HMRPs (Harmonic Mitigation Remote Panelboards) are becoming very popular.

Harmonic Mitigation Power Centres (HMPCs) combine power distribution with voltage transformation and harmonic treatment using Harmony™ harmonic mitigating transformer technology (see above section Harmony™ HMTs) to cancel 3rd, 5th 7th and 9th harmonic currents. The HMPC package also integrates noise suppression, non linear load distribution panels, transient voltage surge suppression metering, power monitoring and alarm functions.

Harmonic Mitigation Remote Panelboards (HMRPs) provide the same power distribution and harmonic treatment function as the HMPC above but without voltage transformation. Transient voltage surge suppression and power monitoring are also optional.

Both the Harmonic Mitigation Power Centres (HMPCs) and the Harmonic Mitigation Remote Panelboards (HMRP) are available in North American (UL and CSA approved) and European (CE marked) formats. Contact us for further information.
