The Harmony™ series of harmonic mitigating transformers (HMTs) have inbuilt zero sequence flux cancellation technology to treat the harmonics produced by non linear power equipment. In addition, all models have electro-static shielding to attenuate noise.
Harmonic mitigating transformers are available in the following configurations :-
Harmony-1™
These transformers are superior to both conventional and so called ‘K-rated’ transformers with regard to reducing voltage distortion due to single phase non linear loads such computers. Triplen harmonics are cancelled in the secondary winding via zero sequence flux cancellation and 5th and 7th harmonics upstream.
Harmony-2™
This patented HMT provides a dual, phase shifted output which ensures very low out voltage distortion under severe input levels of harmonic current distortion. Zero sequence cancellation, in combination with phase shifting, treats 3rd, 5th,7th, 9th, 15th, 17th and 19th harmonic currents within secondary winding
Harmony-3TM & Harmony-4™
These patented HMTs, similar to the Harmony-2™, have three or four output windings respectively.
